About

Established in 1982, Valley Truckers Exam Center (VTEC) has been a leader in the area of DOT Physicals, DOT Random Consortium and DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing. The company has recently expanded to provide Non DOT drug free workplace programs and Non DOT drug testing services.  When you need drug and alcohol testing services in the central valley areas of California, you need to look no further than to VTEC.

For many years, the Valley Truckers Exam Consortium (VTEC) has serviced the DOT drug and alcohol testing needs of owner operators and motor carriers by offering competitive, cost-effective enrollment plans. It is our goal to help you achieve a safe, drug-free workplace by managing your company’s drug and alcohol testing. In addition, we keep you up-to-date on new and changing DOT regulations to ensure member compliance.

Our labs are SAMHSA-certified for proper processing. Pre-employment drug testing is also available, as are post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty and follow-up drug tests.

Many local trucking companies in the San Joaquin County areas utilize VTEC for drug and alcohol testing and DOT random consortium services. Urine drug screening, hair drug testing and breath alcohol testing are the most often requested services from VTEC.

Part of creating a safe work environment requires following the United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) regulatory guidelines on drug use and alcohol misuse.  VTEC does just that and helps employers every day stay in compliance.
